Besides that, why not run Snapcaster? It is such an absurd value card these days, and it really gives your paths allot more reach. While we're at it, why the hell is clique not at least a 2 of? It has great power, especially with your lords, has the ability to wreck opponents hands, and can be a shitty faithless looting in a pinch.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616591441394918048.post-89617841991142298302013-01-07T10:10:14.022-08:002013-01-07T10:10:14.022-08:00This deck is quite good. Your matchup against both Pod and Twin is far from in your favor, though you should be fine against storm (which is admittedly out of popularity right now).

I would certainly recommend changing the mana around, too. This deck want's Hallowed fountain, glacial fortress, and some fetching. Fetches can also give you access to black (via Watery Grave), if you ever decide to change the deck into something more disruptive post board (with thoughtsieze, inquisition).Jace the motherfucking mindsculptorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16727666557043506584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616591441394918048.post-88426574989014696102012-12-17T08:14:48.226-08:002012-12-17T08:14:48.226-08:00I really like the sound of this deck. I am about to try a deck much like this on this FNM but I am trying to make it a bit more burn (which not sure it is needed) and somehow incorporate Charmbreaker Devils and Epic Experiments.. currently struggling to get my deck reduced to 60 cards from 66.

Good stuff though, really enjoy reading your posts.Aaron Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02510294103848501642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616591441394918048.post-57565178439991528032012-12-16T01:30:02.980-08:002012-12-16T01:30:02.980-08:00I've always liked toolbox decks and I've b...I've always liked toolbox decks and I've been trying to find a viable Grixis build since rotation. I put this together and had a lot of fun on MTGO. This deck can do some really silly things once you start getting pieces together. The problem I had was the speed of Humans aggro. Hopefully Gatecrash brings some pieces to deal with these turbo aggro decks.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17056322738462227669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616591441394918048.post-88826132635946179342012-12-02T17:46:31.319-08:002012-12-02T17:46:31.319-08:00Heh, nice Storm deck xD.

Competitive or not, it is so much fun.

One card I think is worth noting that has not been mentioned is Talrand, Sky Summoner. He is excellent for matchups against decks with few/no creatures, where your board wipes get sided out.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09513846365723725345noreply@blogger.com
